Gibraltar

Yesterday, a few of my friends and I went with a local travel agency DiscoverSevilla on a day trip to Gibraltar, a UK colony that's on the southern tip of Spain. It's extremely tiny, only about 6 square miles or so. We had GREAT weather there. People told us since it's part of the UK, there's almost always a rain cloud covering the top of the rock, which was amusing. However we could see everything very clearly. We had great views of the top of the rock and of Africa.

Me on the runway at Gibraltar Airport. They have to stop pedestrians and car traffic whenever a plane needs to land or take off!
Me with a monkey from Gibraltar, I didn't get one on my shoulders, which I was a little upset about, but this picture will have to do.

Two really cute baby monkeys fighting over a plastic bag!

Me and the really pretty view! Behind me is Algeciras, Spain and the Bay of Gibraltar

The same view without me.
If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure that the land in the distance in this picture is Morocco! It's only 8 miles away from Gibraltar and Spain.
Katlyn, Meredith and I with a cool lighthouse.

Me and the lighthouse.

Last looks of Gibraltar from a little ways away.
